Sunil brings with him around two decades of high-caliber experience in Business Development, Project Management and Project Portfolio Management. His work in diverse industry segments spanning from submarine building, oil & gas, shipyard development, shipbuilding, industrial gases to education sector has enriched his experience with the best practices of these segments. Additionally, he specializes in process mapping, establishment and standardization of systems and procedures, optimization techniques, soft skills and project management training.

He started his career with the Indian Engineering giant Larsen & Toubro Limited, where he managed significant part of a multi-million-dollar strategic marine defense program as the youngest project manager. He later moved to Maytas Infra to lead of Business Development for Refineries and Petrochemicals segment, South India. He was later instrumental in setting up of state-of-the-art production machinery at L&T’s greenfield shipyard in Chennai. He also led corporate level team to enhance employee engagement at L&T. His last stint in corporate world was at Praxair, a US based Fortune-300 Company into Industrial Gases, as Project Business Lead – Small Onsite Plants, India & Middle East regions, where he was instrumental in business acquisition and commercialization of multiple industrial gas plants.

Sunil has also been deeply associated with the Project Management Institute (PMI), USA and was one of three Senior Champions at the PMI India Champion Program that was aimed at advocacy of ideal Project Management practices across the industry.

He is a life member of the All India Management Association (AIMA), and member of Bangalore Chamber of Industries & Commerce (BCIC) and National HRD Network (NHRD). He also supports Atal Great Lakes Balachandran Incubator (AGBI) at Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai, as a mentor for Start-ups.

He is also an avid Rotarian since 2013 and has been instrumental in execution of multiple community projects. He has held various positions at Club level, District level and International level. A past Assistant District Governor, he currently is an International Felloship Officer.
